State Prize for Digitalization 2023 for PJM
Another outstanding success from the PJM Group: the Automatic Brake Test innovation was awarded the Austrian State Prize for Digitalisation. The expert jury evaluated the open-topic submissions according to a catalogue of criteria such as degree of innovation, quality of implementation, high usability, added value for users and market potential. The submission phase was organised by the FFG. Excerpt from the jury’s statement:The automation of this testing process reduces the physical strain on personnel and the time required for testing. As a result, rail vehicles can be put back into operation more quickly and rail transport capacities can be increased.’
