PJM expands its headquarters: New hall for instrumented wheelsets
PJM has expanded its Graz site with a new hall for measuring wheelsets. The new part of the building has extensive technical equipment, such as a static test rig and a dynamic test bench for end-of-line testing. Due to the expanded infrastructure, even faster throughput times and faster project processing will be achieved in future. Thanks to the combination of engineering, vehicle testing as an accredited test centre, measuring wheelsets and tests on the static and mobile test rig, all project steps can be handled in-house.
PJM has been developing and manufacturing instrumented wheelsets for 10 years. The measuring wheelset technology ‘Made in Graz’ has already proven itself many times over, including in the new generation of ÖBB Nightjets, the Rhaetian Railway and Indian Railways. With the new hall, the measuring wheelset experience has now also been raised to a new level in terms of equipment.
